Swinburne University of Technology
Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia was established in 2000 as a partnership between the Sarawak State Government and Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne- Australia.
Swinburne is five star rated by the Ministry of Higher Education’s Rating for Higher Education Institutions in Malaysia (SETARA). It is also positively ranked by prominent international bodies, with the 2021 QS World University Rankings placing it in the top 400, which resultantly makes it among the best 1.5 per cent of universities worldwide.
Swinburne produces career-ready graduates, offering leadership in fields such as business, engineering, computing, design and science, as well as other subject areas. Students at the Sarawak campus receive the same top of the line education as their corresponding campus at Melbourne, offering a truly international education to enhance global career opportunities. The International Student Exchange programme also offers students the opportunity to spend a semester at the Melbourne campus.
CAMPUS LIFE:
The campus is located in Sarawak’s state capital, Kuching. It is equipped with radical facilities and reasonable on-campus accommodation. Along with sports clubs, parking areas, book shops, and a sickbay, it provides assistance regarding student’s safety. In addition, a platform for volunteer activities under The Student Life Volunteering Program (SLVP) is provided. Where a group of enthusiastic students support the events on and off-campus and community.
