Sunway University Malaysia
Sunway University was established in 2004 as Sunway University College. It was upgraded by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education to full university status in January 2011. It is conveniently located near the heart of Sunway City, which is one of the safest and most sustainable cities on the sideline of Kuala Lumpur.
Sunway is a fully recognized university and all its academic programs have been approved by the Ministry and have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), which observes the rigorous international standards for academic quality.
Sunway University’s overall academic structure consists of a variety of subject areas. Each school consists of a number of departments and research centers with a specific research focus. Its excellence could be judged by the fact that it is ranked within the 701–750 range of universities in the world by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, and is also ranked among the top 150 young universities worldwide.

Sunway University aims to provide a supportive, friendly, and inspiring environment outside of the classroom for the academic success and development of the students. Multiple opportunities regarding leadership development, skill enhancement, social interaction, character building, and community service are available at the campus. To facilitate further, the university has established a gym, swimming pool, and certain sports clubs.
