Asia Pacific University
The Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) is a private university in Malaysia. It was founded in 1993 as the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) and was later renamed in 2004 after the status of University College to Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI). APIIT has an association with Staffordshire University and has produced more than 40,000 graduates under this relationship.
APU is among the Highest Rated Emerging Universities in Malaysia, being rated at 5-STAR under the SETARA Ratings by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). It has maintained this Excellent Rating in the SETARA since 2011. Also, its students have received awards, such as the NAPEI Education Excellence Award the Microsoft Imagine Cup Malaysia, and the Prime Minister’s Award for Industry Excellence.
APU provides access to world-class resources across a wide range of disciplines. It has developed programs and partnerships with academic and industry partners, with a heavy focus on applied learning. This ensures that the skills and knowledge taught at APU are up-to-date and in high demand.
Courses at APU are approved by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Malaysian Ministry of Education Malaysia. All the programs are quality assured by an International Advisory Panel (IAP).

APU campus is well-positioned in a high-technology park environment and is equipped to enable every student to get the maximum out of study experience at APU. It supports the individuals to take the time to explore not only the educational experiences but also the wide range of social, physical, and cultural activities on campus. It opens up a world of new ideas, intellectual growth, new adventures, and the building of lifelong friendships. Apart from that, many on-campus facilities are provided to the students i.e. Surau, sweat zone, convenience store, resident lounge, health center, and a cafeteria.
